ATOMIC DESIGN
Together with my fellow product designer, we set out to establish and create a Design System that would bring consistency and organisation to the application.
The application is being developed by a large in-house team so the need to be consistent and coherent is crucial for scale. Business goals and sprint planning means that all designs must be lean and easily/quickly produced.
Prior to the design system, designs between iOS and Android were completely different with a unique language of their own. Our goal was to eliminate all inconsistencies across platforms and to build a coherent and efficient interface.
This design system is in a constant phase of improvement, maintenance and development.
